Please request repeat contraception a month before your current supply of medication finishes.

Please complete and return the paperwork included in your kit to ensure the sample can be processed.
Additional information/tips to note for sample takingPlease read the instructions leaflet that is included in the test pack before attempting to take the samples.
To make it easier to draw blood from your finger, your hands must be warm and clean.
There are 3 lancets (for the finger prick blood test) included in the pack.
If you use all 3 lancets and are still unable to get the blood sample, you can request more lancets at cnw-tr.surreyselftest@nhs.net
Alternatively, you can phone 01483 675389 9.15am-12.30pm to book an appointment for a blood test at one of our clinics.

The majority of our appointments are available to book online. Please scroll down to the table on the clinic pages and select the appropriate appointment type so that you are seen by the correct clinician. If you book the wrong appointment it is likely we will be unable to meet your needs and you will need to book another appointment.
Appointments are usually booked up quickly and are released daily or weekly depending on the type of appointment (please see details when booking). Sometimes appointments become free should another patient cancel so please keep checking the website for available appointments.
If you are directed to call the booking office by the website or require additional support during your appointment for example if you have mobility issues, a learning disability or require a translator please ring the telephone line. The phone lines are usually busiest at the beginning of the day so you may wish to call mid-morning.

- Emergency contraception or post-exposure HIV prevention
You can walk in and wait to Buryfields Clinic or Earnsdale Clinic, Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm for emergency contraception (EC) or post-exposure HIV prevention following sexual exposure to HIV in the last 72 hours (PEPSE).
Please note that this is an emergency service for EC and PEPSE only and there may be a wait to be seen if the clinic is busy. Please arrive at least one hour before the end of the walk-in times.

If you are 16-25 years of age, you can order a quick access chlamydia/gonorrhoea urine test kit via the Chlamydia Screening Programme (CSP) click on this link. Please note this test does not include blood testing.
If you have no symptoms but want to check you don't have any sexually transmitted infections click here to order a home testing kit which also includes HIV and Syphilis.

Free condoms for under 25s

PrEP- PrEP is a medication taken by people who are HIV-negative to stop them contracting HIV. It is up to 99% effective when taken correctly.
- PrEP works by stopping the HIV virus from entering the cells in your body that it uses to reproduce itself. In this way, if you are taking PrEP correctly and you’re exposed to HIV, it can’t become established in you body.
- PrEP is for anyone at increased risk of acquiring HIV.

Emergency walk-in and wait
Our clinics offer emergency contraception (for use if you've had unprotected sex in the last 24 hours) and emergency PEP if you think you've been exposed to HIV. See our clinic pages to find the walk-in and wait times. Pharmacies and GPs also offer emergency contraception.

We have three Sexual Health Clinics in Surrey that can help and support you to stay safe when having sex.

If you are Deaf or hard of hearing you may wish to use our dedicated texting facility to contact the service. Please contact us on 07801 629974. Please note we are unable to answer any clinical questions via this service. If you need to make an appointment please state this in your text. This number is monitored Monday to Friday between 10am to 3pm.

Free training for pharmacy staff
We can also provide bespoke training on Sexual Health to meet the needs of your staff in providing the services that they do. For example LGBTQ+ awareness and Sexual Health. Any bespoke training would need to be for a minimum of 8 people and would also be free of charge. This can be via Teams or face to face.
