Continue PrEP
This page is for existing patients who have previously accessed PrEP from our clinics at Mortimer Market Centre, Archway Centre and Edgware Community Hospital. If you have never accessed PrEP from us before – even if you have accessed PrEP elsewhere – please follow this link (Start PrEP in London) to start PrEP at our clinics
If you have already received PrEP from one of our clinics (Mortimer Market Centre, Archway Centre, Edgware Community Hospital), you can access further PrEP in three different ways:
- Quick PrEP
- Online PrEP
- Regular PrEP Appointment
Quick PrEP
Quick PrEP requires you to complete an online form so that your PrEP can be prescribed before you come into clinic. Once it's prescribed, you’ll be sent a link via text to book a rapid appointment where you collect your PrEP and do your blood and STI tests. We aim to send out your appointment link within 2 working days of when you submit the form. Appointments will be available for the same and following week, and you can choose between Mortimer Market Centre or Archway Centre when you book. Anyone who has previously accessed PrEP from one of our clinics can use the Quick PrEP service.
The Quick PrEP steps are:
- Complete this form to get your PrEP prescribed remotely
- Use the link sent to you via text to book into a Quick PrEP appointment at Mortimer Market Centre or Archway Centre
- Attend your appointment to collect your PrEP and do your testing
Please note, as Quick PrEP is a rapid appointment service, we cannot address any other sexual health issues you may attend with such as symptoms and vaccine requests – if you have any other issues, you will be asked to book another appointment.
Online PrEP
If you have already received PrEP from us previously, Online PrEP allows you to access more PrEP without coming into clinic, as long as you meet the criteria below. To use this service, you must also have completed an SHL home testing kit within the past six weeks. You are eligible to use our Online PrEP Service if:
- You live in one of the following boroughs: Camden, Islington, Haringey, and Barnet
- You are under 40 years old
- You have previously received PrEP from our clinics (Mortimer Market Centre, Archway Centre, Edgware Community Hospital) and your last appointment was face to face
- You haven’t been told you need your kidney function monitoring more than once yearly
The Online PrEP steps are:
- Complete an SHL testing kit within six weeks of submitting your Online PrEP form
- Complete and submit the Online PrEP form
- Within 5 working days you will receive a text confirming that your PrEP has been prescribed and dispatched ready to click and collect or posted out
Please note, if you don’t meet the criteria to use the service, you may be sent a text asking you to complete the Quick PrEP form instead. Occasionally we may need to speak to you on the phone before prescribing your PrEP remotely; in this case you will be sent a text with a time for a telephone appointment.
