Traffic Changes at Edgware Community Hospital

Starting on 25 November 2024, essential construction work will begin at Edgware Community Hospital. During this period, a one-way traffic system will be in place to help manage site access. If you have an appointment, please make sure you allow extra time for travel and parking.

  • Entry: Vehicles should enter from Burnt Oak Broadway.
  • Exit: Vehicles should leave through Deansbrook Road.

Signs will be posted, and attendants will be on-site to assist with directions.

Patient Transport: Pick-ups and drop-offs will be at the main hospital entrance (emergency vehicles excepted).

If you have developed a rash/sore or ulcer and you or someone you have been in contact with has travelled to the countries below within the last 21 days, do not attend our service.  Please contact 111.

Edgware Community Hospital offers free and confidential sexual health services, this includes contraception, PrEP and assessment and treatment of sexual health symptoms and infections.

Please do not attend our clinic if you have a current positive Covid result.

Monday: 8.30am to 3pm

Tuesday: 12.30pm to 7pm

Wednesday: 8.30am to 3pm (the clinic is closed from 1pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month)

Thursday: 12.30pm to 7pm

Friday: 8.30am to 3pm

When to Walk-in

I have been sexually exposed to HIV and need PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis).  PEP needs to be started within 72 hours of exposure

Walk in during opening hours. Please arrive at least one hour before we close. You may need to wait to be seen or we may need to ask you to come back at another time or go to one of our other clinics

 

I need emergency contraception
