World Aids Day 2025 - You can end new HIV cases by 2030
25 November 2025
We're proud to support National AIDS Trust this World AIDS Day, standing together to stop new cases of HIV, champion the rights of people living with HIV and challenge stigma and discrimination.
Join the National AIDS Trust on Monday 1 December, 12:15pm–1pm, for an online webinar designed to refresh your knowledge of HIV and highlight how we can all contribute to ending new HIV transmissions by 2030.
This free session is open to everyone including clinicians, non-clinical staff, social care teams and anyone working directly with residents. All welcome. Book your place today.

Thanks to effective treatment, people living with HIV can expect a normal life expectancy and cannot pass the virus on when their treatment suppresses the virus to undetectable levels (U=U).
The UK is close to ending new HIV cases, but we must continue to find and support the estimated number of people living with undiagnosed HIV and ensure they receive timely care.
In 2024, around 4,700 people in England were estimated to be living with undiagnosed HIV (THT). Undiagnosed HIV increases the risk of onward transmission and late diagnosis can lead to poorer health outcomes. Early testing and treatment save lives.
