Looking back on Sexual health week
26 September 2025
Over the past ten days, the CAMISH team has been actively out and about across Camden and Islington—offering advice, sharing information, providing support, signposting services, and registering young people for the C-Card.
The C-Card is for young people to access FREE condoms across London. Once registered young people can collect condoms or get advice from any Outlet displaying the Come Correct logo up to their 25th birthday.
Jeremy, from The Bridge service, joined us at some locations and we achieved great results through collaborative efforts supporting young people and individuals with learning disabilities.
To date we have attended events at the following Capital city sites: -Angel, Holloway, Finsbury Park and Kings Cross. We have also provided outreach at University of Westminster, LIFT youth space, The Peace Cup and Children and Looked after services Islington and a street Outreach in Archway.
We have some more sites booked for the next week including Central School of Speech and drama, Youth offending Camden, New Horizons young person’s homeless charity and HIVE youth space in Camden.
In the past 10 days, we have engaged with upwards of 570 young people, some of whom attended clinic before we had even made it back from the outreach session. We signed up 212 young people to C-cards.
